to the Bavarian Inn, a romantic country chalet offering
European elegance and authentic Bavarian cuisine
from its scenic location overlooking the Potomac
River. The charming and historic inn is owned by
the Asam family, who maintain the highest standard
in hospitality, gourmet dining and guest comfort.
The 72 luxuriously appointed rooms feature gas fireplaces
and whirlpool baths among their amenities.
Located in historic Shepherdstown,
W.V. the alpine-style inn is only an hour from Washington,
D.C. and Baltimore, and minutes from Harpers Ferry,
Antietam Battlefield and Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races.

The Bavarian Inn is Upgrading our Swimming Pool. Construction will occur through the summer of 2013. Arrangements for swimming at nearby properties will be available. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we undertake this exciting new enhancement for our property.
